Exploring Creativity: My Diverse Work Experience

A Brief Overview of My Journey

After spending decades in sales, marketing, and business analysis, I’ve always felt drawn to the creative arts—where I now focus most of my work. Whether it’s performing and stunt work, writing my semi-autobiographical book, developing my passion project for TV, or conceptualizing new ideas for film and television, creativity is at the heart of everything I do. Even website design, including this one and another launching soon, is part of my ever-expanding creative pursuits.

Beyond these endeavors, I’ve explored photography, capturing moments that tell compelling stories in their own right. This visual storytelling has deepened my creative expression, adding another layer to my work. My journey has also led me into sound production, where I’ve been fascinated by the power of audio to enhance storytelling and create immersive experiences. The right blend of sound can transform a project, drawing audiences into a rich sensory world.

I’m also passionate about mentoring aspiring creatives, sharing the insights I’ve gathered over the years. Seeing others grow and develop their artistic voices is incredibly rewarding and reinforces my commitment to fostering a thriving creative community.

As I reflect on this journey, I’m filled with excitement for the future—the endless possibilities, the stories yet to be told, and the incredible projects still to come. The adventure continues, and I can’t wait to see where it leads next.

Writing 2020 – 2021
When the pandemic hit and we were put into lockdown, I used my extra time to write a book I have been thinking about for years. Loved, Lost, Laughed & Laboured. It’s a story of my life, quite literally. My past experiences, growing up, becoming homeless and working my way out of that situation.

It took a lot of discipline, to sit down in-front of a laptop and go through what was sometimes quite traumatic memories, and then write them out in a cohesive manner that still told a narrative of this main character. I also:

Designed the front and back covers
Proof-read multiple times
Designed the layout of the interior
Once ready published through Amazon Kindle Direct
Ran marketing campaigns through Amazon and Social Media
Enlisted the book in to Amazon’s hardback trial and Kindle Deals
Monitor sales through KDP dashboard

Is worth noting the book is still available on Amazon in Paperback, Hardback and Kindle versions by clicking here
