Hi, I’m James—also known as That Jamie Bloke.
Most people know me as the guy who won’t sit still. Whether I’m on a film set performing a stunt, acting in front of the camera, or deep in the “Author Lab” plotting the destruction of Earth in One Epic Year, my life is driven by one thing: The Thrill of the Story.
I’m a London-bred creative with a blue-collar work ethic. I don’t believe in waiting for “the big break.” I believe in building the door and kicking it down yourself.
The Journey: From the Screen to the Page
My background in film and stunts taught me one vital lesson: Action is everything. When I sat down to write One Epic Year, I didn’t want to just write another sci-fi trilogy. I wanted to create a “genre-bending” experience—a story that moves as fast as a TV show and hits as hard as a cinematic blockbuster.
But I realized something along the way. Writing the book is only half the battle. Bringing it to the world—self-publishing, marketing, and building a brand—is a stunt in itself.
The Mission: Two Worlds, One Brand
Today, my work lives in two places:
- For the Readers: I’m crafting the One Epic Year franchise—an ambitious project that spans books, a 2026 TV event, and beyond.
- For the Authors: I’m pulling back the curtain. I’m documenting the raw, unedited truth of being a self-published author today. No fluff, no “get rich quick” schemes—just the strategy and sweat it takes to turn an idea into a business.
