Why I Wrote One Epic Year

This book wasn’t something that just popped into my head overnight. It started as a screenplay—scenes scribbled down in notebooks, late-night conversations with friends, and those “what if?” moments that wouldn’t leave me alone.

But the characters had other plans. They wanted to breathe, to live on the page, to tell their stories in a way that a screenplay just couldn’t capture. And so, One Epic Year transformed into a novel… and then, as the story grew, into the first of a three-book series.

This is a tale about friendship—the kind that’s messy, complicated, but ultimately, unbreakable. It’s about those moments when life throws everything at you: weddings gone wrong, unexpected reunions, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. And yes… there are aliens. And time travel. Because why not? Life’s an adventure.
